The Pan Lancashire Learning Disability and Autism Joint Training Partnership (JTP) is a collaborative partnership arrangement set up to achieve the aspirations of transforming health and social care for everyone by promoting and sharing good quality learning and development across the area
This website has been established to become a hub of information about learning and development opportunities across Pan Lancashire and South Cumbria, a one stop shop that is easy to access, supported by an efficient booking system for a wide variety of learning opportunities. There will be information about workshops directly commissioned by the JTP and links to other training opportunities taking place, these can all be accessed by clicking on the events pages.
There is also a resource section which will be added to regularly so do keep checking back. This will contain links to important documents and resources but also information about how to access on line training resources and training packs provided by partners.
Membership
Membership is free, you can become a member by using the subscribe button on the home page.
We hope that family members, people with learning disabilities and or autism, health and social care commissioners, professionals, education professionals, provider organisations and students will become members.
Membership will give you access to the online resources and online training packs; you will receive early notification when new workshops are placed on the events calendar and a quarterly newsletter. You will be able to book and pay for workshops online or by contacting our project administrator in person
We are eager to work with members to understand your training needs and how we can help to meet them and will arrange several meetings each year when we can engage and consult with you. This will provide an opportunity to shape and influence the training programme to ensure that it continually meets your needs.
The cost for training events will vary depending on who will be delivering them, we do however have a commitment that all training directly commissioned by the JTP will be fully funded (free of charge) to family members and people with learning disability and or autism.
Using the website to publicise your own training events
If you wish to advertise a workshop/ conference or other activity we would encourage you to use the website and the online booking system. If attendance is free for participants we will advertise and manage bookings for free. If there is a charge to attend your workshop or event we will charge a small admin fee. If you want to find out more about this please contact us using the contact us tab on the website
All bookings for workshops are open to JTP members, if you register for a place using our online system you will be sent joining instructions and a calendar invitation which can be easily added to your personal event diary.
If you attend the full workshop you will be issued with a JTP attendance certificate
